- When the same poses are taught to you with different words in different ways, you avoid ‘switching on your automatic pilot’.
Let’s face it, I know you love this yoga but if you hear the same words every single time, you’ll eventually stop listening.
And when you stop listening to the instructions you’re probably not listening to your own body either. And you could injure yourself.
- So you need variety so you can be present with your practice. That’s when you get all the REAL benefits of the yoga.
That deep sense of connection with your body, mind and soul (rather than just going for the plain old exercise). When you’re present, it means you’re more in touch with what’s really happening. And you’re honoring your body’s voice.
